The Gender and Sexuality Research Cluster (GSRC) is an initiative generously supported by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) Research Division at the National University of Singapore (NUS). The GSRC critically engages with the complexities of gender/sexuality in Asia through three separate but interlocking streams: Borders and Boundaries; Media and Discourse; Youth and Society. We will facilitate interdisciplinary and international engagement on gender and sexuality, as well as capture contemporary issues that require intellectual and socio-political attention.
Our vision is to develop a dynamic, vibrant and timely space for intellectual conversations and engagements focused primarily on genders and sexualities, especially in the context of and from within Asia.
